Replacing Timber Windows with High-Performing uPVC Replacements
Mr & Mrs Cowig wanted us to install uPVC windows to replace their wooden ones. Their existing timber windows in Romford were proving hard to maintain. Our customers also wanted uPVC windows that would offer improved performance and a more eye-catching design. We were more than happy to help.
Mr & Mrs Cowan had the following to say about the challenge of the project and the outcome, once the installation had been completed at their Romford home.
We had concerns about replacing our existing timber windows with uPVC, but as we’ve got older, we’ve found the maintenance on the timber windows hard.
We picked Concept as they are a local company. All of the staff have been fantastic, from the sales representative, office staff and fitters.
As well as the low maintenance on the new windows we have also noticed a reduction in the noise levels and the design and colour is perfect. We are delighted with our new windows.

Eurocell: Our uPVC Windows of Choice
Concept Windows works with Eurocell – a leading manufacturer of uPVC window systems – to meet the high standards our customers expect and deserve.
Eurocell windows bring with them many benefits, including:
An outstanding energy performance rating of ‘A+’ that is designed to help homeowners control the costs of running their home
Thermal efficiency levels as low as 0.7, which improves on the industry recommendation of 1.0 made by Passivhaus.
A colour match guarantee, which means we can install uPVC windows that tie in with the schemes of our customers’ projects.
It’s easy to see why Mr and Mrs Cowig were so pleased with the uPVC windows we installed at their home in Romford, which looked beautiful and rewarded them with incredible performance.
The Benefits of Bay Windows
The Cowig’s chose a bay window for the downstairs area of their Romford home. This design features plenty of glass, and the front-facing sections are supported by two smaller ones to the side.
Georgian bars work with the uPVC windows, which have been coloured to look like timber – resulting in an authentic looking design that is simply beautiful.
Bay windows protrude and, optically speaking, create a better sense of space – inside and outside. They also work as a wonderful focal point and add market-appeal.
Our Experience
Concept Windows offers a wide range of uPVC windows that cater to the varying needs of our customers. We are an accredited company and have memberships with competent person schemes like FENSA.
Our uPVC windows have been assessed and passed by the British Board of Agrement (BBA), an organisation that assesses and approves the quality of products made by manufacturers. This means you can buy from us with confidence.
